Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marietta). They blew past the Dickson Comets 56-35 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Marietta's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-13. As for Dickson, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marietta will host Madill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Madill will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Marietta surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dickson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sulphur at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Dickson is facing Sulphur at the right time seeing as Sulphur is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
