Basketball Recap: New Canaan Comes Up Short

New Canaan has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 61-50 to the Ludlowe Falcons on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 58-53 loss back in January.

New Canaan's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Ludlowe, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

New Canaan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ludlowe, they will face off against Staples at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Staples will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ludlowe surely won't give up without a fight.
