Basketball Game Preview: Etiwanda Eagles vs. Rancho Christian Eagles

Etiwanda will face off against Rancho Christian at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday. Etiwanda will be strutting in after a victory while Rancho Christian will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Etiwanda strolled past Oak Hills with points to spare, taking the game 62-44. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Rancho Christian suffered their biggest defeat since November 27, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 76-42 loss at the hands of Sunnyslope.

Etiwanda has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Rancho Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Etiwanda didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Rancho Christian in their previous meeting back in March of 2020, but they still walked away with a 67-61 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Etiwanda since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
