Basketball Recap: Parkway West Takes a Loss

Parkway West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 72-41 loss at the hands of the Franklin Learning Center Bobcats. The HOYAS lost against the Bobcats in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 67-59 score last time.

Jimmie Greeno continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Franklin Learning Center, going 7 for 12 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Tavis Byrd was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 11 points.

Parkway West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Franklin Learning Center, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Parkway West has already played their next match, a 59-33 loss against KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy on the 23rd. As for Franklin Learning Center, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-54 defeat against Motivation on the 23rd.
