It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Eunice ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the New Mexico Military Institute Colts, sneaking past 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won 23 matchups in a row.

Randy Gallegos was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Luis Zamora was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Eunice's record is now 23-1. As for New Mexico Military Institute, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.
