Basketball Recap: South Beauregard Takes a Loss

South Beauregard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 57-45 to the Westlake Rams. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Rams are ranked 102nd).

South Beauregard's defeat dropped their record down to 14-21. As for Westlake, their win bumped their record up to 12-6-1.

South Beauregard will be playing in front of their home fans against Kinder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westlake, they will head out to face off against Pleasant Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Pleasant Hill's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
