Baseball Game Preview: Ocoee Knights vs. West Orange Warriors

Ocoee hasn't had much luck against West Orange recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Things were looking good for Ocoee after they put the first run on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-3 to Mount Dora, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Ocoee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Alevelo, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, West Orange fell victim to Venice and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Indians. The game marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

West Orange also got a good showing from Lukas Stirewalt, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

West Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Ocoee, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
