The Riverton Silverwolves are taking a road trip to take on the Mountain Ridge Sentinels at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Riverton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Last Monday, Riverton made easy work of Taylorsville and carried off a 4-1 victory. The win continues a trend for Riverton in their matchups with Taylorsville: they've now won four in a row.

Riverton hit Taylorsville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Seth Glover, Heber MacPherson, Lincoln Payne, and Jake Butterfield.

Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Herriman. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Mountain Ridge couldn't quite close it out.

Riverton's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Mountain Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Riverton suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Mountain Ridge in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Silverwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
