Football Recap: Jackson Piles Up the Points Against Satsuma

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Satsuma Gators 49-14. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won seven matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

Ezavier Crowell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 129 yards and two scores. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Morris, who rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jackson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in nine consecutive games.

Jackson's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points over those games. As for Satsuma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Satsuma, they are taking a road trip to face off against Chickasaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
