Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Legacy Tigers.

Christopher Salas and Gerardo Leyva scored both of Roosevelt's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Legacy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-4.

Roosevelt has already played their next game (against Huntington Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Legacy will take on Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
