Softball Recap: Pasco Bulldogs vs. Kennewick Lions
Pasco had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it four. They lost 16-1 to the Kennewick Lions. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

For Kennewick's part, Anniston Goodnight looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Goodnight a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
At the plate, Rylee Bendewald was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kadence Sparhawk, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kennewick beat Pasco by a score of 18-0 later that day.
