Basketball Game Preview: Maynard Tigers vs. Earle Bulldogs

The Maynard Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Earle Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Maynard humbled Crowley's Ridge Academy with a 48-18 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Earle had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 75-64 win over the Indians.

Earle is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Maynard, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Maynard might still be hurting after the 86-65 defeat they got from Earle in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Maynard avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
