It was a good run, but Corona del Mar unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mira Costa Mustangs by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Corona del Mar's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Mira Costa, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corona del Mar will head out to square off against Newport Harbor at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give Newport Harbor their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Mira Costa, they will venture away from home to face off against South at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
