Volleyball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northside Methodist Academy on Thursday, St. Luke's Episcopal came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Mobile Christian Leopards on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat last Tuesday.

Amelia Smith paced St. Luke's Episcopal's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Baker Garside and her 22 assists. Colbie Acosta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Luke's Episcopal moved to 28-16 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Mobile Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-10 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Luke's Episcopal nor Mobile Christian have any future games scheduled.
