Volleyball Recap: Fresno Christian Has No Trouble Against Selma

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clovis West, Fresno Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Selma Bears 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

While Fresno Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-17.

With the victory, Fresno Christian broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-16. As for Selma, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Fresno Christian will take on Madera South at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Selma, they will challenge Washington Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
