Baseball Recap: Dartmouth's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Dartmouth and Reading Memorial squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Dartmouth had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 2-1. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in June of 2022.

With the defeat, Dartmouth broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-6. As for Reading Memorial, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Dartmouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reading Memorial, they will challenge Somerset Berkley Regional on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rockets 1.7, the Raiders 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
