Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Heights Extends Winning Streak to Three

Shawnee Heights had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Seaman Vikings. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shawnee Heights was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15.

Shawnee Heights' victory bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Seaman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, Shawnee Heights and Seaman will both be playing Blue Valley West the next time they take the court. The Thunderbirds will host the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
