Central had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the McEachern Indians. The Lions were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Indians, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

Central easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8.

Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abby Kreft, who had four digs and two aces. Kreft is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Julianna Johnston, who had ten digs and three assists.

Central's record now sits at 9-1. As for McEachern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Central will be playing at home against Dalton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McEachern, they will be taking part in a tournament against Walton at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
