Senatobia won the last time they faced Byhalia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors claimed a resounding 39-6 victory over the Indians. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Senatobia can attribute much of their success to Jay Irby, who rushed for 40 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 91 yards and a pair of TDs. Another player making a difference was Deavion Watson, who rushed for 40 yards and a pair of scores.

The win keeps Senatobia at an undefeated 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average this season. As for Byhalia, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Senatobia is set to face off against their familiar foe Clarksdale at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 12, the Wildcats 13) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Byhalia will square off against rival Rosa Fort at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
