Volleyball Game Preview: Hartford Hurricanes vs. Mount Anthony Patriots + How To Watch

The Hartford Hurricanes will square off against the Mount Anthony Patriots at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Hartford is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Enosburg Falls, who was ranked seventh at the time (Hartford was ranked fifth). The Hurricanes put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday.

Hartford was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Mount Anthony hadn't done well against Pittsfield recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Patriots came out on top against the Generals by a score of 3-1.

Mount Anthony walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 19-25, 25-12.

Hartford's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Mount Anthony, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Hartford skirted past Mount Anthony 3-2 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Hurricanes repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
