While Lakewood's victory against Squalicum wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Storm 3-2. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Lakewood's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tejay Hoiland, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Lakewood's record now sits at 5-9. As for Squalicum, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
