It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Providence had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They took down the Central Knights 52-34. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Riddhi Mistry was the offensive standout of the match as she posted 13 points and five steals. North Providence is 11-3 when Mistry posts three or more steals, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Marianna Xavier, who went 6-for-12 en route to 12 points.

North Providence smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive games.

North Providence's record is now 14-7. As for Central, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, North Providence will head out to take on Prout at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Providence is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
