Soccer Recap: Brookfield Falls to Lordstown in First Game of Season

Brookfield had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lordstown Red Devils on Saturday. One thing that didn't help Brookfield's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Brandon Evans.

Jayden Duncan and Matthew Ryser scored all three of Brookfield's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Coincidentally, Brookfield and Lordstown will both be playing Bristol the next time they take the pitch. The Red Devils will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
