Basketball Game Preview: Stover Bulldogs vs. Lone Jack Mules

The Stover Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Lone Jack Mules at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Stover comes in on four and Lone Jack on seven.

Last Thursday, Stover didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Warsaw, but they still walked away with a 55-51 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Wildcats are ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lone Jack really took it to Wellington-Napoleon for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-32 win. The Mules have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Lone Jack's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Stover, their win bumped their record up to 23-2.
