Soccer Game Preview: Blazer vs. East Carter

The Blazer Tomcats will venture away from home to face off against the East Carter Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Blazer fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Russell on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Blazer haven't been shut out since back in August.

Meanwhile, East Carter waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Musketeers. Considering East Carter have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Blazer's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9-3. As for East Carter, their win bumped their record up to 13-5-1.
