Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King's last matchup with Corpus Christi Moody could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Mustangs lost 8-0 to the Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since March 14, 2025.

King's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9-2. As for Corpus Christi Moody, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. King is set to face off against their familiar foe Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Moody will take on rival Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
