Tumwater won the last time they faced Shelton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Thunderbirds put the hurt on the Highclimbers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Tumwater can attribute much of their success to Maille Marty, who had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Marty has posted since back in October of 2024. Courtney Manning also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Tumwater's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-2. As for Shelton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
