Soccer Recap: Alcoa Gets the Win

Alcoa proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the East Hamilton Hurricanes. Alcoa have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw East Hamilton, too.

Alcoa now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for East Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alcoa will venture away from home to square off against Notre Dame at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for East Hamilton, they will challenge Howard Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be East Hamilton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
