Volleyball Recap: Maiden's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Maiden entered their tilt with West Iredell on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Warriors 3-0. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2018.

Maiden's got stronger as the match went on, holding West Iredell to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-7.

Maiden's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for West Iredell, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Maiden will be playing at home against Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Iredell, they will square off against East Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
