Baseball Recap: Pueblo Central Comes Up Short

Pueblo Central lost against Pueblo County back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats lost 8-1 to the Hornets. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pueblo Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Monlux, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Pueblo Central's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-7-1. As for Pueblo County, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Coincidentally, Pueblo Central and Pueblo County will both be playing Pueblo East the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
