Volleyball Recap: Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Monday, dropping them down to 0-10. They lost 3-0 to the Heritage Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

As for Heritage, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17th (when they won 3-0).

Layla Crespo-Delgado was nothing short of spectacular: she had 22 aces and five kills. Those 22 aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eva Vuichard, who had six aces and five kills.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Master's Academy on the 2nd. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Eau Gallie on the 30th.
