Volleyball Recap: Urbana University Comes Up Short

Urbana University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Staunton Bulldogs.

Urbana University's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Staunton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Coincidentally, Urbana University and Staunton will both be playing Eureka the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Hornets at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Illineks will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
