Waverly won the last time they faced Sidney and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Raiders.

Gracie Lauenstein paced Waverly's offense, picking up nine kills. Lauenstein got some help from McKinley Moser and her 19 assists. Finally, Mia Jackson kept Waverly's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Waverly's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Sidney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Waverly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Ashland-Greenwood on the 27th. As for Sidney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Aurora on the 27th.
