Football Recap: Grayson Conrad's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Athens over North Farmington + How To Watch

Athens lost against North Farmington back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Red Hawks and the Raiders didn't end well, with the Red Hawks falling 40-21. While losing is never fun, the Red Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Raiders are ranked 154th).

Several Red Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grayson Conrad, who picked up 92 receiving yards and one score. Andrew Dunlap was another key passer, throwing for 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Athens is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for North Farmington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
