Volleyball Recap: Alta Loma Takes a Loss

Alta Loma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Laguna Beach Breakers.

Laguna Beach found their leader in sophomore Dylan Sweet, who had 15 digs and two aces.

Alta Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Laguna Beach, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-13.

Alta Loma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Brea Olinda on the 19th. As for Laguna Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Fontana on the 19th.
