Volleyball Recap: Lanesboro Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Schaeffer Academy last Thursday, Lanesboro came back down to earth. The Burros fell just short of the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Burros were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Lanesboro took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-10.

LeRoy-Ostrander can attribute much of their success to Adelynn Harn, who had 16 digs and one assist. Those 16 digs gave Harn a new career-high. Madi Stern also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lanesboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Lanesboro has already played their next contest (against Goodhue), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Kingsland on the 11th.
