Baseball Recap: Lafayette's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Lafayette had lost five games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 9-17 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Cameron Dragons 13-3. This was a revenge game for the Fighting Irish: when they faced off against the Dragons back in April, they had to take a 10-9 loss.

As for Cameron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

For Cameron's part, Emmett Potts made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double was Potts' first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Thatcher Haggard, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

As of now, neither Lafayette nor Cameron have any future games scheduled.
