Soccer Game Preview: Stony Point vs. Vista Ridge

The Stony Point Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Vista Ridge Rangers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Stony Point is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Stony Point came up short against Vandegrift and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 378th, while the Vipers are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, Vista Ridge fell victim to Round Rock and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Rangers couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 8-4. As for Stony Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
