Basketball Recap: Osakis Comes Up Short

Osakis was the 57-53 winner over Sauk Centre when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Osakis Silverstreaks fell 64-51 to the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters on Tuesday.

Osakis has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Sauk Centre, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osakis will face off against Albany at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Albany knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 contests -- so hopefully Osakis likes a good challenge. As for Sauk Centre, they will square off against Foley at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
