Merrol Hyde Magnet took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Everything went their way against the East Nashville Magnet Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Merrol Hyde Magnet took every set by at least 18 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-6, 25-7.

Avery Morris was the offensive standout of the game as she had six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Merrol Hyde Magnet wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Liberty Creek on the 19th.
