Volleyball Game Preview: Millburn Millers vs. Livingston Lancers

Millburn is 2-8 against Livingston since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Millers will take on the Lancers in a tournament on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Millburn comes in on three and Livingston on five.

Millburn is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Jersey's top teams: Bloomfield, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Millburn was ranked tenth). The Millers came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 2-0 on Friday.

While Millburn won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Livingston beat West Orange 2-0 on Friday.

Livingston easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17.

Millburn's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Livingston, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
