Basketball Game Preview: Crivitz Wolverines vs. Oconto Blue Devils

Crivitz hasn't had much luck against Oconto recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wolverines will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against the Blue Devils at 10:30 a.m. One thing working in Crivitz's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Last Thursday, Crivitz made easy work of Coleman and carried off a 73-47 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Oconto was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 64-63 to Oconto Falls.

Crivitz's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Oconto, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Crivitz took a serious blow against Oconto in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 75-47. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
