Soccer Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union lost against Elizabeth back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Farmers fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Union can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Elizabeth are ranked 35th).

Union has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Elizabeth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Union has already played their next matchup (against Columbia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Elizabeth also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against South Brunswick.
