Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lafayette). They blew past the Bluegrass United Bluehawks 94-66 on Thursday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-26.

Despite the defeat, Bluegrass United saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Everett Pieratt dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Elliot Higginbotham was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 10 points and seven rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Lafayette and bumps their season record up to 3-8-1. As for Bluegrass United, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
