Basketball Recap: Ringling Comes Up Short

Ringling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-29 loss at the hands of the Empire Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ringling's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Empire, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Ringling and Empire could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Ringling (ranked 435th) will meet Davis (ranked 209th) at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Empire will square off against Verden at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday down 182 places (333 vs. 151).
