Basketball Recap: Machias Takes a Loss

Machias suffered their biggest loss since December 14, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Schenck Wolverines, falling 53-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-34 back in December of 2024.

Machias' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Schenck, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Machias beat Schenck by a score of 53-28 on Saturday.
