Red Bud waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Roxana Shells. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Wednesday.

Peyton Kreher paced Red Bud's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kreher got some help from Norah Wagner and her 21 assists. Wagner also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Corbyn Legendre, racking up three apiece.

Red Bud's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Roxana, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Red Bud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Trico on the 13th. As for Roxana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Valmeyer on the 13th.
