After losing to Pasco the last time they met, Weeki Wachee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hornets managed a 65-60 win over the Pirates on Thursday. While the Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Weeki Wachee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Beams, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan White, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Weeki Wachee and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games. As for Pasco, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Weeki Wachee has already played their next contest, an 82-48 defeat against Palm Harbor University on the 5th. As for Pasco, they will take on Patel at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
