Grassfield was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Oscar Smith on Thursday. The Grizzlies never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Grassfield's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Oscar Smith, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grassfield will take on King's Fork at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.4 runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oscar Smith, they will face off against Nansemond River at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
