Volleyball Game Preview: Mukwonago Indians vs. Muskego Warriors

The Mukwonago Indians will face off against the Muskego Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Mukwonago is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Catholic Memorial, who was ranked 11th at the time (Mukwonago was ranked 13th). The Indians came up short against the Crusaders on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Muskego not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Waukesha West.

Mukwonago's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Muskego, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Mukwonago couldn't quite get it done against Muskego in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
